Welcome to my professional portfolio!
As I approach graduation from Bridgewater College in May 2014, I am excited about moving into a career as a teacher. I have wanted to teach for most of my life, and my education at Bridgewater and experiences both inside and outside of the classroom have prepared me to teach in a variety of settings and do whatever it takes to help students learn. Upon graduation, I will be certified to teach elementary (PK-6) content and ESL (PK-12) in the state of Virginia.
Along with my preparation in the Teacher Education Program at Bridgewater College, I have had multiple experiences with teaching, including elementary Sunday School, adult English classes in Harrisonburg, VA and Sofia, Bulgaria, and tutoring both an elementary student and college students in various subjects.
