The teacher understands how learners grow and develop, recognizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually within and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical areas, and designs and implements 
developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences.
My work:
I wrote this paper on how students learn best. The paper synthesized my personal beliefs about education with research and theories on how students learn. This knowledge has helped me develop teaching strategies to work with diverse groups of learners.
