My work:

I created this lesson on the letter b for kindergarten students.  The lesson incorporates several kinesthetic components to appeal to students with that learning style.  It is interactive and includes accommodations for ELL students.  This shows my ability to use a variety of strategies to fit the learning styles of a variety of students.

This handout was created as part of an Instructional Strategies Fair in the Curriculum and Instruction class for seniors in the Teacher Education Program.  It explains how visualization, a non-linguistic strategy, can be used in the classroom to enhance students’ learning.  Incorporating non-linguistic strategies is especially important for students from diverse backgrounds and with different needs, because students are able to store and access learning in multiple ways, rather than only verbally.
